Sins is located in the south-eastern part of Aargau, right on the border with the cantons of Zug and Lucerne. Thanks to its advantageous location, Sins has become a high-performance location that is of enormous importance for the entire region. Especially for our customers from Lucerne.
Main Road 25 in the south-eastern corner of Aargau is an important traffic artery. Our location, with its office and warehouse buildings belonging to Kuratle & Jaecker and Meier Logistik, is just a few minutes away. From here, we serve the greater Central Switzerland area, including the cantons of Aargau, Lucerne, Schwyz, Obwalden, Nidwalden and Uri.
And this should not be underestimated: Central Switzerland is considered an important driving force when it comes to sustainable construction. Renowned companies in the fields of architecture and construction characterise the Lucerne region. Economic performance in recent years has shown a steep upward curve. In this canton in Central Switzerland, gross domestic product (GDP) has grown more strongly than in Switzerland as a whole.
Strong location: Kuratle & Jaecker and Meier Logistik in Sins
Our trading company Kuratle & Jaecker and our freight forwarding company Meier Logistik work hand in hand for the benefit of our customers.
The building in which the Kuratle & Jaecker sales team takes orders from our customers has been owned by Kuratle Immobilien since 2024. This underlines our desire to be permanently available to our customers in this important region. The Meier Logistik warehouse is located opposite and has always been owned by the company.A phone call here, an email there: our sales team provides our customers with individual advice on flooring, doors, timber construction and interior design. The doors department used to be housed in a separate room next to the open-plan office, but under the leadership of Stefan Matter (who joined the company in 2022), it moved to the other departments. ‘Having everyone in the same room promotes team spirit,’ explains Stefan. ‘And it's also simply more practical for the exchange of knowledge in everyday life.’
The sales team is not only gathered in one room on a daily basis. The sales staff also meet four times a year for internal sales meetings. New product ranges are then presented. Training courses are also held from time to time by the product managers. The information provided equips our sales staff to offer competent and reliable advice to our customers in Central Switzerland.
Daniel Zimmermann, Managing Director Central, has an office in Sins. In 2025, the sales team was expanded to include an apprenticeship in customer dialogue. Stefan sees potential for his team in this.
‘In the office, an apprentice will certainly help us with our day-to-day business. If there is someone to answer the phone, this frees up capacity for the permanent staff.’
Customer contact is essential. In Sins, many customers come to pick up their goods themselves. Our main location in Leibstadt often takes care of the appropriate cutting, but occasionally the appropriately cut panels also come from Buchs. The goods are delivered from Buchs to Sins within just one day. Replacement items are delivered from all locations in Switzerland.
If delivery is requested, our two drivers are called into action. Their workplace is not only the cab of the lorry, but also the 3,000 m² warehouse. From here, the whole of Central Switzerland is supplied. Two lorries are available, one with a forklift.
Always close to our customers
The team in Sins is not too big. That makes the Christmas season all the more enjoyable. Everyone gets together for a raclette party, which provides an opportunity for personal conversations. This also strengthens team spirit.
For Stefan Matter, head of the sales department, it's all about the details. 'The Kuratle Group's ecosystem of trade, production and logistics is truly unique. That's why it's all the more important that the entire chain, from order receipt to delivery, runs smoothly. Only then will the customer be truly satisfied in the end.'
Customer-oriented cooperation between the companies is important. Each company has its place under the umbrella of the Kuratle Group – just as the Sins location has its place on the map of our locations.
