What does your training look like?
Your workplace will be in the centre of our marketing and communications department, where you will be surrounded by creative minds from the fields of graphic design, marketing, communications and mediamatics. The learning objectives can thus be optimally covered and you will have the opportunity to work with all employees on various projects. To gain a good insight into the company, you will spend half a day gaining an insight into other departments such as HR, Purchasing or Sales. At the end of the 3rd or beginning of the 4th year of the apprenticeship, a 14-day internship at one of our partner companies is planned to gain further experience.
What happens on the days I don't work?
In addition to working days in the office, you will attend vocational school(Aarau School of Design) twice a week in the 1st and 2nd year of your apprenticeship and once a week in the 3rd and 4th year. The timetable there includes subjects such as vocational studies with the design and creation of media-compatible publications as well as German and French. There are also 28 inter-company courses spread over the four years of the apprenticeship, in each of which one subject area is dealt with in depth.
