What does a woodworker do?
Woodworkers EBA process the raw material wood into finished products and components. Woodworkers specialising in industry work in planing mills, joinery plants or sawmills, for example. With the help of large machines, they process raw beams, for example, into ready-cut timber components, which are then delivered and assembled directly. They pack the timber products according to the order, store them and transport them professionally.
Woodworkers use manual machines, hand tools and stationary machines safely and efficiently in their work. Stationary machines include planing machines, circular saws, moulding machines and band saws. Manual machines and hand tools include, for example, chainsaws, hand routers and sanding machines.
