At the end of August 2026, D.I.Y. Global exhibited for the first time alongside its subsidiaries HWZ International and DIY Wood at the GIGA trade fair in Wels – and won the GIGA Award. The trade fair demonstrates the potential that lies in the collaboration between our teams and product ranges. United for excellence!
It was already clear during the planning phase that this trade fair would be something special. For the first time, HWZ International and DIY Wood appeared under the joint umbrella of D.I.Y. Global. The modern and inspiring exhibition stand – described by visitors as positive, inspiring and innovative – impressively demonstrated how the expertise of both companies complements each other.
The product ranges blended harmoniously. From innovative wall renovation solutions and modern acoustic panels to attractive home and living products, a holistic concept emerged that meets current market demands. The combination and synergy of the different product ranges demonstrated just how much potential lies in close collaboration. This opens up new opportunities for customers and retail partners.
A trade fair on this scale is only possible when many people work together with dedication. We would therefore like to extend our special thanks to the entire trade fair team at HWZ International and DIY Wood. Whether in planning, marketing, product development, sourcing samples or setting up the stand, the team worked together superbly.
As well as holding valuable discussions with existing and potential customers, we were able to make many new contacts and gather important insights for the future development of our product range.
The numerous discussions with association members, buyers and industry experts demonstrated that integrated product range solutions are growing in importance. The trade fair appearance will help to tailor the product range even more precisely to the needs of the markets and to build on synergies.

A highlight of the trade fair was the presentation of the GIGA Award for our new Revêt range – a special honour within the GIGA Association. To be awarded a prize straight away as a first-time participant at the trade fair is a great honour – and, at the same time, a testament to the innovative strength of our teams.
A big thank you to all our colleagues who, through their dedication, passion and commitment, helped make the GIGA Association Trade Fair 2026 a resounding success. This success demonstrates what is possible when people work together towards a common goal – united in the pursuit of excellence.
