Without our employees, it would not be possible to fulfil our customers' needs competently, reliably and sustainably on a daily basis. To ensure that new employees understand our Kuratle Group ecosystem right from the start, we regularly organise a welcome day at our headquarters in Leibstadt.
The first welcome day of the year took place in mid-February. A total of 18 new employees from various Kuratle Group sites and companies came together to gain a comprehensive insight into our Group.
After a cosy start with coffee and croissants, the participants were given an introduction to the Kuratle Group ecosystem by Daniel Buchs, COO Kuratle Group. He explained our complete wood solutions and showed how our three areas of trade, production and logistics are interlinked and the synergy benefits for our customers.
During the subsequent tour of the company and short presentations by the various departments, the employees were given an insight into work processes, areas of responsibility and activities within the Group.
At lunchtime - despite the cool temperatures - the group headed into the forest for a barbecue.
In the afternoon, the participants were split into two groups for a short workshop in order to obtain activity-specific information. The employees from logistics and production delved deeper into the SUVA rules and the topic of occupational safety, while the employees from sales were given an introduction to the marketing strategy and marketing plan.
Finally, Corinne Kuratle, Head of People & Culture, presented the Kuratle Group's Code of Conduct, which was then further explored by the participants in group work.
This year's first Welcome Day was a complete success. The new employees showed great interest and took away a lot of valuable input. We wish everyone a good start with us.
