Vocational training at the Kuratle Group
Around two thirds of young people in Switzerland opt for basic vocational training after completing their compulsory schooling. The Swiss education system enables young people to achieve their goals in different ways. True to the motto "No degree without a connection", the Swiss education system is designed in such a way that new doors and options for shaping the future open up after each degree.
The Kuratle Group also sees basic vocational training as an opportunity for highly qualified young talent. Promoting this is part of our corporate culture. The Kuratle Group has continuously expanded its training programme and now offers eight different apprenticeships. This diversity reflects the broad positioning of the Kuratle Group and enables apprentices with a wide range of interests to enter the wood industry.
It is very important for young people to be able to gain a broad insight into different professions as early as the career exploration phase. This enables them to find out where their skills, interests and strengths lie. We therefore also attach great importance to giving apprentices the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the various professions we offer and to familiarise them with the Kuratle Group as a company. We do this, for example, by organising career exploration days, by taking part in the Future Day and the Vocational Training Week or by supporting a wide range of projects in the area of basic vocational training.
By helping to organise the Kuratle Junior News, our current apprentices are given an important platform to present their activities and the professional fields within the company.
A big thank you to all apprentices who have contributed to the creation of Kuratle Junior News.
