As we do every year, all Kuratle Group employees received a birthday gift in 2025. Since we believe it’s important to give our employees meaningful gifts, we came up with something special: as part of the birthday gift, a tree was planted for each employee.
631 Birthday Trees
The planted trees were meant to be more than just a symbolic gift or an empty promise: foresters and volunteers planted them by hand in regional forest areas. There, they will grow in the coming years and sustainably strengthen the ecosystem. Together, we made it possible for 631 trees to be planted for our employees in the Oberhasli and Rümlang forest areas.
The “My Tree” campaign continues
Appreciating wood as a raw material—the cornerstone of our business—has long been important to us. Through the projects of the “My Tree” campaign, we have helped ensure that around 9,800 trees have been planted across Switzerland over the past five years. We plan to continue this effort this year as well. We have planned to plant around 2,200 trees as part of additional projects.
With this gift, we aim to create a symbolic link between our appreciation for our employees and our commitment to sustainable forestry. Every tree planted represents a personal token of recognition and, at the same time, a contribution to the environment.
