Welcome days for apprentices in Leibstadt and Farvagny-le-Petit

07.08.2026

On Monday 3 August 2026 and Tuesday 4 August 2026, the induction days for our new apprentices took place. A total of 12 apprentices began their training at the Kuratle Group this year.

For the first time, we were able to hold the Welcome Days once in German and once in French. Supporting apprentices in French-speaking Switzerland is a first for us – we were delighted about it.

Objectives of the Welcome Days
Our Welcome Days are designed to give our apprentices the best possible start to their training. It is important to us to provide them with an initial overview of the training programme and the training organisation. At the same time, we aim to strengthen the relationship between the vocational and practical trainers and the apprentices.

To achieve these objectives, expectations were jointly drawn up and discussed, specific points from the vocational training regulations were addressed, and any outstanding questions were clarified. In addition, the apprentices received an introduction to the topic of cyber security and their initial logins were set up together.

Leibstadt and Farvagny-le-Petit with different programmes
In Leibstadt, the apprentices were also introduced to the work of the Jura-Rhein forestry operation by Fabian Bugmann, a qualified forester (HF). The focus here was particularly on the topics of sustainability and climate change. The apprentices from French-speaking Switzerland, on the other hand, were treated to an introduction to the product range. Frédéric Ganzerla, an in-house sales consultant in Monthey, gave them a fascinating and varied insight into the diversity of products.

We wish all apprentices an exciting, informative and successful training period with the Kuratle Group.

The day in Leibstadt …

...and then in Farvagny-le-Petit.
