We were at the Holz Biel company day

26.03.2026

Yesterday, the Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH Architecture, Wood and Construction hosted this year's Holz Biel company day. We were also there and took the opportunity to talk to the students and present ourselves as an attractive employer. A total of around 80 companies from the Swiss timber industry took part in the event.

Corinne Kuratle, Head of People & Culture, Samuel Halter, Head of Technology & Properties, Susanne Meier, Vocational Training Manager and Raphael Forster, former Kuratle Group trainee, were on hand at our stand to answer students' questions. They answered numerous questions and presented our ecosystem, our complete wood solutions and the career opportunities and variety of professions within the Kuratle Group. Corinne Kuratle also gave the students a concise insight into our company in a short presentation.

Our new digital ecosystem, which allows visitors to get to know our group of companies and our values - including Lotti - in an engaging way, attracted a great deal of interest from the public at our stand this year. Like last year, our laser was another highlight. Students were able to have their name engraved on a wooden bottle opener. An opportunity that was once again very popular.

Throughout the day, we were able to get to know many interested students, make new contacts and have exciting conversations.
