CEO on Tour: A dialogue on the future of the Kuratle Group

19.10.2026

What is driving the Kuratle Group today, and what challenges will shape its future? Staff received answers to these and many other questions at the first two of a total of three ‘CEO on Tour’ events held in Leibstadt. Introduced in 2023, this format offers the opportunity to speak to Roger in person, ask questions directly and discuss current developments within the group.

Focus on employees’ questions

The events centred on questions from staff. Roger took the time to address concerns, views and future topics openly and directly. Due to the large number of participants, the events are held in several groups to facilitate personal interaction. Following the first session, the second event has now taken place. The venue was the recently modernised staff lounge in Building A, which provided a suitable setting for meetings and discussions. Refreshments consisted of an autumnal pumpkin soup served with Vienna sausages and bread.

Future issues and challenges

The discussions clearly highlighted the developments that will occupy the group in the coming years. Topics such as artificial intelligence and robotics, changes in procurement and supply chains, currency fluctuations and market dynamics were just as much a focus as the increasing consolidation within the sector and ongoing pressure on margins. At the same time, it became clear just how important long-term thinking and forward-looking decisions are for a successful future.

The responsible use of resources and the continuous improvement of existing processes were also discussed. Roger encouraged staff to critically question established practices, actively capitalise on opportunities for improvement, and further strengthen collaboration within the Group.

It’s the people who make the difference

Amidst all the discussions about markets, technologies and the future of the group, one idea remained central: ultimately, it is people who make the difference.

‘People give meaning to people. It is the enthusiasm, commitment and determination to make a difference together that drive us forward as a company. Technology can support us, and we can optimise processes – but it is, and always will be, people who shape our future.’

This conviction shapes the Kuratle Group as a family-run business. Economic success lays the foundation for taking long-term responsibility for employees, partners and society. The aim is to create an environment in which people can realise their potential, take on responsibility and make a difference together. This is precisely what ‘CEO on Tour’ stands for: personal exchange, different perspectives and mutual understanding. For it is only through dialogue that the group of companies can continue to develop together.

The third and final ‘CEO on Tour’ event in Leibstadt will take place on 28 October.
