You have been working in Corporate Communications at the Kuratle Group for around two years now. Where can we see your work specifically - which projects have you been able to contribute to in particular?
I started as an intern in the Communications department in January 2024 and was hired as a permanent member of the Corporate Communications team in July 2024. Since then, I have been involved in many different projects. One project that is particularly visible to the outside world and was completed last year is the Kuratle Group's new website. We have also modernised many of our companies' websites. I was heavily involved in both the design and the realisation of these. Another key project was the new exhibition in the Umwelt Arena. I was involved in various phases - from concept development and communication measures to actively helping to set it up on site.

Basically, my work is very varied. There are always new projects that I'm involved in. The Kuratle Group's communication channels (social media, website and intranet) and helping out at events, such as the anniversary celebration or our annual Christmas dinner, remain constant.
After your commercial apprenticeship, you successfully completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts HSLU. What made you decide to pursue a career in communications after your commercial apprenticeship?
I completed my commercial apprenticeship at a local authority. I then completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the HSLU, specialising in Marketing and Communication. Even during my time at the municipality, I was very interested in communication topics and I knew that I wanted to continue my education in this area. The further education programme is versatile and varied, opens up numerous career prospects and teaches skills that are in demand in almost all sectors. You also have the opportunity to specialise in certain topics and deepen your knowledge of them.
When you look back on the last year: Which projects have particularly stuck in your mind - and why?
I particularly remember the new stand in the Umwelt Arena and the anniversary celebration, as we received very positive feedback for both and the collaboration with everyone involved worked really well.
If you could try out a different job within the Kuratle Group for a day - what would it be?
Hmm, that's a very good question. We have so many exciting and different jobs in the Kuratle Group that I would love to do for a day. But I think I could well imagine being a chauffeur for a day. I would really enjoy the direct customer contact and driving a lorry and it would be a nice change from everyday office life.
Sport plays a big role in your life. Which sports have you already tried, which are you currently doing and which would you like to try?
I used to play football for FC Beinwil am See for ten years. I then started playing American football in 2019, also at a club. I would say that this sport has appealed to me the most so far - it's varied and strengthens the team spirit enormously.
I currently do fitness regularly and am active in the gymnastics club in Beinwil am See. I also take part in a half marathon every year. In winter, I enjoy snowboarding and skiing. I would like to take part in a triathlon in the near future.

American football: Which team would you never miss a game of?
My favourite team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, I generally support the sport itself rather than a single team. During the NFL season, I try to watch as many games as possible, usually via NFL RedZone. This is a conference where several games are on at the same time and the best moments are shown. However, I also miss games as they often take place at night according to Central European Time. That can't really be combined with my job. But what I really never miss is the Super Bowl.
You have been a member of the Beinwil am See gymnastics club for many years. How long have you been there?
I've been a member of the gymnastics club since 2019, so just under seven years. I've also been a member of the board since January 2025.
What tasks does your role as a board member entail?
I'm responsible for our website and our social media channels. That's basically very similar to the tasks I do here at the Kuratle Group.
Skiing: What do you really go for? Piste or après-ski?
Let's put it this way ...: When I go with the family or alone, the focus is on skiing. I definitely spend more time après-skiing with friends.
