A brief explanation: KPI dashboard
KPI stands for ‘Key Performance Indicator’ and refers to a metric used to measure performance or progress. The KPI dashboard brings together the Kuratle Group’s key metrics, presents them clearly and makes it easier to compare trends.
Why we are setting up a KPI dashboard
With our Strategy 2028, we have set ourselves clear objectives. To manage the implementation of these objectives in a targeted manner, we need a shared view of the key performance indicators. This is exactly where the KPI dashboard comes in. It provides transparency on developments, makes progress measurable and supports well-informed decisions.
The KPI dashboard supports us precisely in this regard. In this way, key performance indicators become a reliable basis for decision-making and support the consistent implementation of our Strategy 2028. They provide guidance, promote transparency and help us to better understand the impact of our measures.

Strategy requires economic strength
Good strategies require a solid economic foundation. Only by operating profitably, efficiently and responsibly can we invest in key areas for the future. For example, in our staff, digitalisation, sustainability and modern sites.
For our customers, this means more reliable processes, clear commitments and a group of companies that remains effective in the long term.
Transparency regarding our development is not an end in itself. For employees, it means greater clarity about what matters, which developments are important and how their own contribution to the implementation of Strategy 2028 is reflected.
The responsible use of resources is part of our corporate culture. This includes not only financial resources, but also time, materials, energy and capacity. Greater transparency helps us to deploy these resources where they have the greatest impact.
In day-to-day work, the KPI cockpit can help us to better understand decisions, set priorities more clearly and tackle improvements in a more targeted manner. When information is available more consistently and quickly, this reduces the need for coordination and frees up more time to work on solutions.
What the KPI dashboard is designed to achieve
The KPI dashboard will become a key tool for managing our group of companies. It is designed to help managers and specialist departments better interpret trends, set priorities and make decisions based on reliable data. In doing so, it links figures to targets and specific areas for action across the various specialist departments.
For staff, this creates a clearer link between key performance indicators, objectives and measures: information becomes more transparent, discussions more fact-based and improvements within their own departments easier to identify.
From data to decisions
The value of the KPI cockpit does not lie in displaying as many figures as possible. What matters is that the right key performance indicators are visible – in a way that is understandable, reliable and linked to specific decisions. In this way, the cockpit supports dialogue on performance, efficiency and future viability.
This is how we create a common basis for discussion: What is going well? Where do we need to take a closer look? Which measures will take us further strategically?
Next steps
The KPI cockpit is being developed in stages. First, the target vision, key figures and data logic are agreed upon. After that, the initial cockpits are set up, tested and further developed. The technical implementation is planned to be based on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. This will enable us to create a shared data platform drawing on the various systems within the Kuratle Group.
A pragmatic approach is key here: we’ll start with the core key performance indicators, quickly establish a usable foundation and expand the cockpit step by step. This will result in a tool that fits our current data landscape whilst leaving room for future developments.
The 2028 Strategy sets the direction. The KPI dashboard provides the transparency needed to visualise progress along this path. It links objectives to key performance indicators, supports fact-based decision-making and helps us to effectively manage the implementation of our strategy across all areas.
